Went to watch the fireworks for Bonfire night on Saturday. Fairly entertaining seeing as I've never really been before.
Meanwhile it is 20 years since the Berlin wall came down (which I remember), yet wikipedia doesn't even feature it as main news. Speaking of Germany, I am going to Munich in less than two weeks.

I was watching Tv last night and an advert came on for a documentary which is on tomorrow night. It interested me so I looked into it.
It is about a girl 24 year old Katie Piper who two years ago was a model and budding Tv presenter. She then met a man on facebook and dated him for two weeks. When during the two weeks the man turned on a store clerk in rage for no apparent reason she decided to end the relationship. However, they still had a meal at a hotel where afterwards he raped and beat Katie nearly to death. The relationship then ended. However, not happy with what he had already done, he got a friend to find Katie and throw acid in her face. She was left with her Tv and modelling career over, blind in her left eye and with serious scars. The two have since been sentenced to life in prison (yeah right they'll be out in 15-20). It also turned out that they guy had already been in prison for throwing boiling water in a mans face.
So how fucking sick bastards are some people? You get broken up with after a two week relationship for a perfectly good reason, so you decide to ruin the girls life forever. I doubt there is an remorse from these guys either. This is where my whole policy of taking them, cutting their hands off and then the next day hanging them comes to order. This isn't going to happen though. It should though. Some people really do deserve the death penalty or worse. This is one case where I believe it should apply.
If you look at the video on this link I don't think Katie looks too bad anymore, but that is besides the point.

Hopefully Katie can continue to improve. Her potentially great career is over though.

On Friday I started a voluntary job with the Red Cross. It's as an administrative assistant. The work is pretty tedious and repetative - inputing data ect, but at least it is experience and it is helping a charity so that is good. Hopefully it will get a bit more exciting soon.
On Saturday night a cat (kitten more like) followed me home from my friends house (about a mile). I didn't have the heart to turn it away so I let it in and fed it some tuna and gave it some water, plus made it a bed out of towels. We phoned the RSPCA on Sunday but they were closed. It didn't have a collar so yesterday we took it to the vets where they scanned it for a micro chip, which it had. So we left it with the vet for them to contact the owner. I hope the owners are a little bit more careful about leaving it out at around 2am from now. Anyway, it seemed like a nice cat and I hope it is happy, just that it doesn't follow me home again if I see it.

I finally watched The Dark Knight last night. It was pretty good. A real shame about Heath Ledger. It was a good performance by him.

More obvious outrage from the religious because of an ice creams name.
Why don't they (the religious) just fuck off? The world would be so much better without them. Don't buy the ice cream if you don't like it....

I've had nights out where I have got drunk and not payed for a single drink.
I also often buy the bar staff a drink at the end of the night.
Always fun.

I just read that Les Paul died today.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Paul
I'm totally a Fender person but this is still sad.
I think when I get back from the pub I'm gonna listen to some Guns n' Roses as a Slashesque Gibson tribute.
Afterall, Gibson and Fender are probably the most popular guitar types in the world.
The last gig I played a just over a month ago I played a Gibson Les Paul copy. My Dad also has a real SG - Probably the most expensive of the 15/16 guitars we have in our house.

I was born a snake handler, and I'll die a snake handler.
No, I'm thinking about joining the westborough baptist church. They have some forward thinking ideas that really appeal to me.
Meanwhile on Friday I fell through the upstairs floor into the kitchen and really cut up my back. I think I was lucky I grabbed and held onto a window frame otherwise I probably would have broken my legs.
Friday was also the sixth anniversary of Buffy ending in this country, which was also the last time I actually wrote a song - at least the lyrics to one anyway - I've written music since then.
Also meanwhile I have developed an obsession with watching As Told By Ginger (see icon - could I be any more Courtney Gripling like) and Braceface.
Oh yeah, Ricky Ponting doesn't like Leicester? I should go down to Grace Road now and give Ricky Ponting a fucking punching in the face, arsehole....

I'm going up to Newcastle tomorrow for the week. On Thursday night I am playing live at some club in Amble. With my guitar playing and drum playing mates we are gonna play a few songs with me singing and playing piano, including November Rain by Guns n' Roses which I have learnt on the piano and the lyrics. Playing a keyboard is bash compared to playing a real piano, but it will have to do.
I guess it's hard to hold a candle, in the cold November Rain....

I just read a pamfelt my mom gave me. My mom is a teacher. It was about a 10 year old girl my mom used to teach. It had pictures of her all over it. Her at the park. Her on school trips. Her on holiday. Her with her friends. Nice pictures of her and all her friends lying in a field together. Her with some cute animals like lambs. My mom just explianed to me that that pamflet was her funderal one. She was dying of cancer. It has the songs she choose for her funeral because she knew she was dying. All the songs are really cute 10 year old loving songs.
She died in January.
I'm looking at her pictures (her picture she painted of a bird when she was 8) and I am crying my eyes out. That wedding one I posted yesterday did me. This one about a little girl has destroyed me. It's just not fair this life....
